Revell Corvette C6

a few months ago i was doing a charger and i painted it.
And It turned out like SH*T!
There was drip marks and crap.
it just SUCKED!
how can i prevent that?
Anyways?

Btw.
Im asking this because i dont want this to happen to my new model corvette ill be working on.

ILL GET SOME PICS OF THE CORVETTE LATER!

It will be a gloss black corvette c6 with black rims and red calipers and red engine cover.
And a ton of more cool things to make it look modified/

Re: Revell Corvette C6

Generally, drips = too much paint.

When painting, start with primer and check the body for flaws or spots you have missed. Sand with 1000 or 1500 grit to make the primer as smooth as possible.

Color: Thin coats are easier to work with than thick coats. When in doubt put less paint on not more.
First layer of paint should be like a dusting where the plastic is still partly visible.
Second layer should mostly cover the model but, not have the wet look yet.
Third layer should cover the model and you should stop spraying just as the paint looks wet.

Hope that helps,
TW
