Ext. Cab Rear Driveshaft U-joints
I have a "93 S-10 Ext. cab. 4.3L
This truck has a constant velocity joint on each end of the rear driveshaft. (Two u-joints on each end.) I don't have a book to show me the sequence on which the u- joints are installed or which ones to do first. . Does anyone have that info? tg5308 |

First thing is to mark all shafts and joint parts so you can put it back together like it came apart. If you are not experianced on replacing them or u joints it might be best to let your machine shop put them in for you.

Re: Ext. Cab Rear Driveshaft U-joints
I have this one apart already. Just thought that there might be a certain way to put them back together since they have a spring in each end.

Always mark the way the parts come apart and which way the couplers go. Good luck
