Re: What is the best coilovers for right price on 95

there are alot of good options for coilovers, but theyre all expensive especially for a high school student. most GOOD coilovers are going to be around a thousand. if you just want it to be lower you could get springs for a few hundred but that wont help performance, just looks. as for your first mod, it can really be whatever you want it to be, but if youre tight on cash i definitely wouldnt start with the suspension considering that the stock suspension is already decent, particularly on the vr4. but it looks like youve got a base model right?

coilovers are expensive for a first mod. personally id probably do intake and exhaust first, then start thinking about the suspension.

Megan Racing > ALL on coilovers, but I agree for a high school student coilovers are not a smart first mod.

All you need is some nice aftermarket wheels for now.

if ur just looking for a lower car look, then get springs. wheels r nice, but lowering the car really sets them off

oh yea i was thinking about an intake but im gonna get my car painted white seen and i saw these rims on the internet that looked nice so i was thining about upgrading the suspension+brakes before i get the wheels so even without a good suspension or brake kit the wheels will still be fine?

as long as they are not to large in diameter you will be fine. i think the largest that'll fit in our wheel wells is 19" right? you really don't need 19 though. 18 is fine. hell some people even get aftermarket 17's. you also have to make sure that they clear the calipers. apparently that can be an issue, but you can get spacers for them so i guess it isnt that big a deal. spacers look nice too IMO

I've got 17's on mine. I was looking for 18's but I couldn't pass up the deal I got on these.

Those should fit with no issue. Usually NA's don't have to worry about spacers. Its TT's that might need them because of the large calipers.

TT's are Twin Turbos and NA's are Naturally Aspirated aka a SL or base (or anything without any type of forced induction beit supercharged or turbocharged).
