rims and tires
hello everyone, I have a 98 Grand Voyager and the tires are 215/70/r15 and would like to switch FRONT tires ONLY with a Dodge Caravan with tires 205/65/r14. What are the pros and cons on going smaller on thE voyager. Thx beforehand.

Re: rims and tires
What your planning can't be done. The stud centers on both sizes of rims have different spacings. The 15" oem rims have a 114 mm spacing and the 14" oem rims have a 100mm spacing. Unless you run an aftermarket wheel they won't interchange. Also if your speedo reads 65mph your actually running about 59mph. Also the van will handle like crap.

Re: rims and tires
Either front or rear the van will handle like crap. Why would you want to do this anyway?. Your fuel economy will also suffer. Not to mention braking issues.

Re: rims and tires
Giving up on the thoughts of the tires. My buddy has a 98 Caravan 3.0l that is crapped out and I am wondering what parts are interchangeable with a 98 Grand Voyager3.3L. I was considering exchanging passenger seats ,bench seats, windshield, serp belt, alternator and passenger side sliding door etc.etc. What parts are the same? .And instructions on replacing the seat and side door would be much appreciated. His van has manual locks and mine has power.. THX
