Engine Codes P0125 P1130 P1135, 1999 Camry
I'm trying to help my dad out with his car. He has a 1999 Camry, 6 cylinder.
His engine light came on and I read the codes P0125 P1130 P1135 P1135 (again). I looked up the codes and found the P0125 P0125 Insufficient Coolant Temperature for Closed Loop Fuel Control. Can't find the 1130 and 1135 codes? What are those? My dad said the mechanic working on it suspects that the "sensor" is bad. A new one is $600+. He's getting a rebuilt one for $350, and if that doesn't fix it, he can return it - no charge. That part of try this part and see is ok. I trust the mechanic to be honest, he just may not know what to do. I will credit it to him that he is talking to the Toyota Mechanics. But if its not this "sensor" part, they are going to go thru a circus to try to find the problem. I have used these forums a few times and its GREAT. So I am back. Last time I was here, he had a weird sound. Again this forum answered it where the mechanic was unaware. It was the shock mount, an unusual but typical thing for Toyotas of that year. I am guessing its the computer he is replacing? But can't be sure. Anyone know what this 1130 and 1135 code is? And what is causing the P0125 Code. Coolant temperature for fuel control loop. WHATtttt? Thanks, |

Re: Engine Codes P0125 P1130 P1135, 1999 Camry
You can look up all OBD2 trouble codes on thsi site:
http://www.iequus.com/support/obd2_definitions.php My guess (from reading these codes) is that he is replacing the air/fuel sensor. It's a more precise device for monitoring the air/fuel mixture on California emmision cars, instead of an O2 sensor. Perhaps someone who has more experience with California emmisions cars can correct me if I am wrong. Mike |

Re: Engine Codes P0125 P1130 P1135, 1999 Camry
P1130 - Air-Fuel Sensor Circuit Range/Performance-04
P0125 -Insufficient Coolant Temperature for Closed Loop Fuel Control P1135 - Air-Fuel Sensor Heater Circuit Response Malfunction-04 They all point to fuel. Could it be just a bad fuel filler cap? Just a shot in the air but... Do you have FSM from www.camrystuff.com? The testing procedures could be there. Good luck, Sam
