Thumbs up Farewell 1998 Rodeo LS

http://s966.photobucket.com/albums/ae142/msikdm/

anyone need my remote key fobs... cargo cover or net. if you are willing to pay shipping from MS

Best auto I have ever owned. Nearly 300,000.0 miles original trans and engine.
4 sets of tires, 1 starter and 2 alternator,1 timing belt/tensioner/waterpump at 82,000. Original owner.
I know these vehicles don't have the best track records in rollovers. But I literally walked away from a 4-5 rollover at 70mph with only a bump or two on the head and lots of bruises. Rodeo is obviously a full total. Glad to be alive and mourning the loss of the my truck. My 2yr old Dachshund also survived.
Baby these trucks and they will last forever... unless it rolls! later

ps - may have some salvageable parts if anyone would like to send a request.
and thanks for the help when i have posted

Wow! I missed this thread. Glad you made out OK! Great to hear your trans had 300K on it. I was hoping only to get to 200K - maybe I'll get another 100K out of it.

most likely you will considered, your maintenance history and your capacity to fix problems early.

Re: Farewell 1998 Rodeo LS

Sorry truck is gone. 2000izusu is correct guys and gals. Maintain these little trucks and they will serve you well. This was my daily driver. Checked the oil every fill-up and used synthetic Mobil-1 since first oil change. Did partial trans fluid drains every 30,000.
Did have the range sensor issue at about 220,000. Easy fix thanks to you all.

still have the trunk-pull cover if anyone needs one

Re: Farewell 1998 Rodeo LS

Yes the 98 has different ends to the 2000, you need a 2000 or higher model.
