help
i need to stop a thief, i want to hook up 220 volts to my truck. i did it 30 years ago with my car, but i parked it on grass. i can not park on the grass now, its in the drive way.

You got to be kidding us. If you hooked up 220 volts to your vehicle and it electrocuted somebody you'd be up for manslaughter. I guess I've heard it all now.

Dave is correct , the thief would be injured ( probably dead ) and you'll be in jail !

Besides being just plain wrong, and possibly going to jail for manslaughter or worse, there are easier ways to catch a thief...like a wildlife cam placed properly (they detect ANY movement where aimed and snap pics...proof positive for the law) and/or a burgler alarm wired so it cannot be disconnected/disarmed except by key/remote turning it off.
Also...would be a sad note if per se a family member or good friend got zapped accidently and hurt/killed...or even yourself (possibly drunk and forget the "alarm")...then where would you be?
