1978 Ford F-150 400m overhaul???
Hey all,
I'm looking at overhauling the 400m in my 78 F-150. Is it worth the overhaul or should I get a different engine (351W, C, M or 390 or... suggestions)? If I overhaul, what company should I get the kit from? The reason I have come to this conclussion is the oil pump is bad. I figured since I have to pull the engine up to get the oil pan off I might as well pull it out and overhaul it. I have never heard it run so I don't know how it sounds. I would like to start fresh. Thanks for any and all suggestions.
