code need explanation

i have a 1999 chrysler concorde with a 3.2 i had it scanned and came up with code 10171 can anyone tel me wht that is the guy who scanned it for me wasnt to sure either . 1 more ? when should the radiator cooling fans come on? and could this affect the ac clutch not engaging???

Are you sure the code wasn't a P0171 which is a lean code.

Or P1171 which would be a long term fuel trim code?

To my knowledge there is not an ODBII code with more than 4 digits so something is not right?

the numbers i wrote was wht he told me. i scanned it myself and brought up po171

That's a lean code for bank one. Since its only bank one I would be surprised if it is a vacuum leak but not out of the question.
