I'm looking for something i can put on my blazer to change the colour of it when ever i like. it has to be easy to put on and easy to take off. something like a car wrap but not costing that much. i would like to be able to make my blazer into a rainbow starting from the front to the back. and for some of you that are reading this. NO IM NOT A MORON I'm putting my truck in a parade. i was thinking of the stuff you see on the new cars that are being shipped. i would like my truck to stand out but i don't think there is such a thing out there, and i ain't painting my truck like a rainbow. cost is a big thing cause i have to pay for it myself. if any one has an idea that they can provide that would be GREAT. and thanks for reading

Go to a grift wrap store or JoAnn frabrics and they sell different colored semi transparent plastic wraps that you might be able to wet down and apply. Perhaps even CVS might have something.

I would certainly go with the gift wrap idea - you can tape it to the inside of the doors etc. Otherwise - last minute thought - get the shrink wrap that shipping companies use to wrap pallets, then you can use paint to go over the shrink wrap. That shrink wrap comes in wide rolls, so it would go pretty fast. Wrap the doors seperately...so you can get in...

Hey Poor Man,

Back in the late 80's Bob "Hurricane" Hannah's MotoCross contract provided him with a fully equipped trailer, there was one catch, he wasn't allowed to permenently modify it in anyway, including painting it. His solutions....about 30 rolls of colored duct tape and a graphic artist. He had one of the coolest looking trailers around because all of the other riders had their trailers painted with their sponsors logos, etc..... Look on line at dirt bike parts places and you can probably find it for $2-3 a roll. Rainbow, maybe $15 to $20 with a little imagination. I suggest you give your ride a thorough wax job first and don't leave it on to long or the adhesive will stick to the paint.

Similar to commercial wrap, but much cheaper is contact paper in white sold at Walmart. About $7 per roll - 2 rolls should cover a car. Cut it in pieces you can handle - wet your car surface & lay it on - squeegee out air bubbles with a credit card or body putty tool. Mask & paint as desired. Will remove easily within 2 weeks.
I've used it to letter, stripe, make checkers, and cover panels on the junk s10s we race around a field. See hogeezer on youtube.
You could cover bumpers (whole vehicle?) with Reynolds Wrap - looks fine natural, or spray with candy colors.
