Thanks to the forum!!!

I just fixed my wifes 2001 Blazer which started acting totally weird. First off the starter was dragging/screeching on start up. So I thought OK well 100,000 miles I guess it needs a starter. Then the entire electrical would come and go intermittently, dash lights, radio, gauges cycling up and down all while she was driving. I got in today and fired it up and it did the same plus would barely run at idle. Put it in gear and it would chug and die. So I started reading different threads on this forum and a few of them resulted in miraculous fixes from cleaning the darn battery terminals and cable ends. I reached in and noticed the positive was loose enough to move so I removed it and the face was green with corrosion. I thought well that can't be good, so I cleaned 'em up good with terminal cleaner and a wire brush and whalla we have our Blazer back. The starter has screeched only twice out of about 15 startes since the fix whichleads me to believe the starter may have been compromised some what from too much resistance. I'll just put a good charge back in the battery and continue to monitor. Thanks for the good information it saved me big time.
