Im back guys..

Okay, so i figured out my alarm issue, its not the alarm. Starter is engaging, but nothing more than a constant clicking. I changed the starter already, battery is good, is it a bad ground? If so, any ballpark on how many grounds there are to check, and whereabouts are they? thanks again fellas..

Re: Im back guys..

A constant clicking racket is usually a bad battery, bad solenoid, loose battery terminals or dirty battery terminals. If you replaced the starter and all the cables are tight (the starter is grounded through the housing) I'm almost sure you have a bad battery. Did you have a load test done on it? Could have proper voltage, but not amperage.

Yeah Dave, i took it to Autozone, they said it had I think a 96%charge on it, but I don't recall them saying anything about the amperage. Are you sure in saying that it is, in fact, the battery? I also notice that when I try to start the car, after turning the key, when I turn the key back off, the power goes completely out, and after a second it comes back on. The gauges jump all the way around, then go back to normal. Still the battery you thinking?

Re: Im back guys..

Okay, here it is. I turn on the key, i can hear the fuel pump kick on. Turn key to start, starter clicks away, nothing else. Upon releasing the key back to on position, all gauges jump to the right for about 3 to four solid seconds. The odometer kinda fades in and out, sometimes going out completely for a second or two, then back on halfway or so. Door unlock is also triggered at that same time, and the dome light goes out and comes back on. Any help??
