Fuel fill

"04 suburban Z71 it took me 10 minutes to pump 16 gallons of fuel. It sounds like a vent issue (whistles down - then I can pump again)

Re: Fuel fill

If your vent valve is plugged, this could be the cause

the fuel fill pipe is a hose in a hose..the inner hose is were the fuel travels the outer hose is where the vapors vent...

if this hose is twisted/distorted it will prevent vapor from venting...give the hose a massage to remove any distortions...

it is possible the tank may need be droped and this hose properly installed...this has been reported after fuel pump repairs made..
