99 ram billet band anchor

well I drained my tranny fluild out and in the pan was this thing--after doing alot of seaching online I found out the name of the thing is a " Billet Band Anchor"...now the problem is I can't get it to go back around the band and wondering if anyone has had this happen to them and can I replace this myself or take it to a Transmission place. hopeing I can do it myself as I know National Transmission will charge alot.

They have problems with these breaking (band strut). You have to drop the valve body and re-adjust the band. One other thing is the 2nd bands seem to wear out in your year more than others.
