Auto seats not working

My auto seats up/down do not work. They move forward and back, but do not tilt, or raise/lower. When I move the lever, I hear noises from something running under the seat, but get no movement. They were working, but now they are not.

I know, it sounds like I'm posting all sorts of issues, but I'm trying to give this old car some TLC. It's my project car and I really like it, so if I can fix these problems myself, I'm really happy. I recently purchased a OEM repair manual, so I hope that helps my quest for fixing up this car.

Welcome to the club...very common the seat motors break. Best is to find the motors in salvage.
