1996 Express stalls when driving

While driving the past few days my 5.7L 1996 van has stalled. Sometimes it will sputter while going down the road and then kick back on. I noticed that when that happens the air bag light on the dash flashes like it was just started. A few times it has shut off totally. When that has happened all the electrical goes dead. I will turn the key off and when I turn it back on there is no gauges, or lights that come on. I have let it sit for about 5 mins and then it will have power and start again. I have a code reader and tested it, there were no codes that came up.

Anybody know what is going on?

I'd look for loose electrical connectons.

I would also check for a loose ground wire.

Where do you find that?

Right top of cylinder head. Right front of engine near thermostat housing. Also check main ground wire.
