steering question

i was able to get a wheel off my tt and after it having sat for 1.5yrs everything is rusted. some of the attachment bolts for the tie rods(inner and outer) are rusted and their heads are essentially MIA. my question is, how does the rws work, same idea as the front(in parts i mean) or is it a different system? if so should i replace those tie rods? i can't get the other 3 tires off b/c of the wheel lock so i can't really inspect the corners without a lift or stands

note: yes i'm going to school for automotive, but 4ws is something along with rotary motors they teach nothing about.

Re: steering question

i stopped at gzp last monday on my way back to school and asked one of their techs, he said it's the same setup as the front, however b/c of how they are positioned they're not as likely to rust as the front ones, and they're a bitch of a job to do on your own.
