Key Replacements
Hello Group;
I was reading in the manual for the 2006 PT Cruiser that to program a new car key you must have two existing working keys. They go on to say you need to insert key one into the ingition, wait a number of seconds, withdraw it, then insert key two and do the same. Then insert the new key to program it. I only have one key, why can't i just insert the same key twice and then the new blank key? Has anyone tried this? Thank you |

Re: Key Replacements
It needs to be programed with the DRB III done by the dealer.Most Chrysler keys are this way including the ones with key fobs built into the key.
