No power when gas pedal pushed

2002 Kia Sportage 4wd. Starts up and idles no problem, but when you push the gas pedal down, it bogs down, and literally goes nowhere. There are no codes. I have checked TPS, MAF, grounds. I even detached the exhaust pipe at the manifold, to check and see if it was a plugged converter, no dice. The injectors were cleaned, and timing belt replaced at 80,000 miles, and it has 96,000 on it now.

Any other ideas folks, before i give it to the boneyard?

this description would have been relevant of mine 2 years ago. spark plugs and plug wires returned it to normal. I did not have to change the coils.
