A friend has a 98 Eclipse VIN 4A3AK44Y3WE087715 THE 2.0L ENGINE threw a rod. He has a 95 2.0L engine from an Eclipse VIN 4A3AK34Y7SE205348. Other then the obvious chages to make the OBDII electronics talk to the engine. WHat else would he need to do to put the 95 engine in the 98 eclipse?
Thanks for all the help. |

Re: Engine swap 2.0 l DOHC
Quote:
All 95 Eclipse/Talons are OBD-II, so there is no change with the wiring.

Re: Engine swap 2.0 l DOHC
Then it will be a direct swap. Should have no changes between the 2.
