keyless remote problem

I have a 97 Jimmy that I just bought. Got a remote transmitter and when I went to program it, after connecting a jumper wire to pin 4 and 8 the doors cycle unlock and the tailgate unlocks but the doors do not lock. After removing the jumper the transmitter will only unlock the drivers door and the tailgate, no locking of any doors and will not unlock the other three doors. Any ideas? Relay or the receiver itself.

Is it a factory OEM or a add on setup?

Already did that 4 or 5 times before posting this thread. Unless I am missing a step something is wrong!

Re: keyless remote problem

Yoiu may have to get it on a body capapable scanner and check the door lock operation out and for codes.
If any Body\B codes post back codes

If that does not show anything.
Get a good factory repair manual or a all data online sub and go threw the repair flow chart for you problem.
