Re: Jerico 5 speed
You need to talk with Gary Jones. They put a Jericho in a GTRA. Required a custom FAB'd tunnel, new drive shaft and some other stuff.

Re: Jerico 5 speed
I've done a little research on this. I think you will find that Gary put in a Jerico 4 speed not the 5 speed. The problem with the Jerico 5 speed is that it has the shifter and shift rails offset to the left of the trans. It's also a bit bigger than the Jerico 4 spd. See it here: http://www.jericoperformance.com/4.html and the Panoz doesn't have all that much room in the tunnel. This is unlike the Tremecs which are more of a "top loader" style with the shifter centered over the trans or tailshaft.
IMO The 5spd may be doable but my sense was that the shifter offest to the left, even with substantial tunnel mods, puts the shifter too close to the driver. Not to mention the challenge of getting the setback right. |

Re: Jerico 5 speed
thanks, I spoke to Gary Jones, he hwas a good help. We are putting together a package with his supplier to put in a Internal shift jerico 4 speed, very similar to the COT cars transmission. It should not need a lot of modifications to make work and will be a package, will keep you guys posted..
