4.8 not running right

While driving about 30 mph I stepped down gas pedal the truck had no power. Couldnt get it over 40 mph. Wouldnt rev over 3000 rpms. Also engine light flashes. Next day I took battery cables off and few minutes later put them back on. Started the truck seemed to be running okay. Let it idle for several minutes then pressed gas pedal and it would rev fine. Took it down the road and lost power again and engine light came on and flashed.

is this the drive by wire throttle ??? if so inspect the throttle wire connector for corrosion...

when the computer sees a bad resistance at the throttle resistor it goes to reduced power mode...
