thinking of painting my 1/24 tamiya enzo blue, need tips

Has anyone done a blue one? I'm thinking of a blue like nissan's bayside blue or bmw's le mans blue. i'm pretty sure the body is molded in red plastic, any tips on making it look good in blue? thanks!!!

Go for Telephonica Blue. It might now be called Racing Blue, the new Focus RS WRC instructions refer to the same paint code but the new name.

Give it some white primer first to cover up the red, and maybe an undercoat of silver to bring out the metallic in the blue a bit more.

I'm thinking of doing my own Enzo a sort of metallic purple, if I can find the right shade in my local auto accessories shop.

lay a nice coat of primer first. white if you want it lighter gray if you want it darker or lastly black. then wither lay on silver or go for the paint. i would love to see a blue enzo. i say mica or telephonica blue would be nice. mica is what the subies are. anyone going to do a gunmetal enzo imho that would look great.

You will have to prime it first before adding the blue.
I like the sound of the telephonica blue.
Any tips you want to know are covered here if you want to read it all

looks black to me from those pictures. If he used flash, it could be easier to tell.
