2003 Cigarette Ligher Fuse
The cigarette lighter in my daughters 2003 Grand Am does not work. Not the lighter, the socket. She wants to use it to charge her cell phone. Nothing works if plugged in there so my thinking is that it may be the fuse. Unfortunatly it is not listed in the fuse section of the owners manual. There are three fuse boxes, one on the driver side, one on the passenger side, and one in the engine compartment. Anyone know where the fuse is for the cigarette lighter so I don't have to pull every fuse and test it?
Thanks. |

Re: 2003 Cigarette Ligher Fuse
Underneath the hood, fuse 34. It's a yellow 20 amp fuse.

You're Welcome polarzak!
It is nice they at least put the diagram on the lids of the fuse boxes. I hate older cars that have no indicators for fuses.

Re: 2003 Cigarette Ligher Fuse
You're welcome. I had an issue with mine about 3 months ago so I figured I'd take a pic in case I or someone else had problems. I also learned if you ever have to replace cig lighter, not any one will do cause there is a slight difference in length and it will blow the fuse. I had to get one from dealer.
