Scan Tool question!!

I'm looking at the following scan tool.

http://www.amazon.com/Equus-3160-Pro.../dp/B001QIUGVI

Does anyone have any comments on it specially about the ABS diagnostics?

I'll be using it on a 99 Grand Am SE 3400 and a 01 Grand Prix GT.

Thanks

Weber

Re: Scan Tool question!!

It should do OK.

I missed it though, is it just able to retrieve DTC's, or will it also display sensor and data streams?

If it just displays DTC's, you can find ones cheaper that do just fine. I have an Acctron just for quick reading and erasing. It does the job.

Re: Scan Tool question!!

This one looks like it does it all. I'm mostly interested in error codes and ABS diagnostics.
The ABS light is on on my GP and all the wheel sensor/bearings are OK, the front ones I've just replaced.

Re: Scan Tool question!!

What are the resistance readings on the back ones? Compare side to side.

If you have that much cash, it would be a nice investment that will save you all sorts of headaches.
