Is there a filter in the line of the air conditioning system in a 97 Concorde?

the filter is usually the receiver/dryer

Same thing, and yes of course there is, there is always a filter/receiver/dryer, whichever you want to call it. I'm not 100% sure, but I believe it may be on one side of the condensor. Other than that, it would be out in the open, follow the a/c lines around and you'll find it.
