97 Stratus not starting
Used the car just last evening, woke up this morning for work and the Stratus would not turn over completely:
> Battery - FINE, voltage was at 12 > Lights Exterior and Interior - FINE > Power Locks and Windows - FINE > Wipers - FINE > FUSES - FINE > NO LEAKS .......When I try to start it, it just doesn't turn over completely to start the engine. ANY help would be much appreciated. > Updated: Checked for code and got 42: DRB Scan Tool Display: -Auto Shutdown Relay Ctrl Circuit -No ASD Relay Output Voltage at PCM -Fuel Pump Relay Control Circuit -Fuel Level Sending Unit Volts Too High (or Too Low) -Fuel Level Unit No Change Over Miles Description of Diagnostic Trouble Code: -An open or shorted condition detected in the auto shutdown relay circuit -An open condition detected in the ASD relay output circuit -An open or shorted condition detected in the fuel pump relay control circuit -Shorted (or open) circuit between PCM and fuel gauge sending unit -No movement of fuel level sender detected Last edited by vali31; 06-23-2009 at 05:45 PM. |
