Window won"t stay up on 89 deville
I took the interior covering off the door and found a small plastic piece on the bottom that appeared to be broken. I suspect that is what holds the electric window up. where can I get the part, what is it called? and does anybody know where I could get a diagram showing me how to repair it?.

This may be a PITA but if you take the interior panel off the opposite door, you would have a good view of what the mechanism is supposed to look like and how it operates.

It's a regulator clip, found it at Auto zone and they even gave me printed directions

aka window guide. Does the Cad take the oval shaped ones like the later B bodies? If so, see if you can use the round guides, they don't break.
