Smile Re: fusion oil filter?

I think it's toward the front of the engine. I don't think you can see it from above. It is not a spin on filter, it is the cartridge type. Take cover off and old oil seals (o-rings) then replace with new rings included with filter. Put filter in, screw cover back on and fill with oil and you're done.

Re: fusion oil filter?

Recently changed oil & filter on a 2007 2.3L that I picked up. The motorcraft cartridge filter was slightly compressed and twisted when removed, and the new purolator pure one filter was about 1/8" taller. Suspect the same thing will happen to the new filter. Anyone notice a smiliar condition when changing filter? Also wondering if an adapter is
available to convert to a spin-on filter?
