jerking ~40 MPH 98

Hi,

My 98 has been running kind of crappy.

I've been doing a bit of research and am not entirely sure what to look for first.

At first I thought it was something fuel related because around 40mph it seems as though the car is jerking and sputtering.

Upon further reading, however, I've noticed that the engine/trans mounts can cause similar problems. It has been shifting harder than it used to as of late and it also seems somewhat harsh from P to R. That said, its not slamming per se, just harder than it used to be.

The most noticeable thing is the fact that the engine feels almost like its shaking from 30-40 MPH. The harder I accelerate the less noticeable it is.

So, my big question is this: Does this sound like a mount? Or does it sound like a fuel delivery problem like a clogged fuel filter?
