Valve Cover Leak

A few months ago I replaced the valve cover gasget on my 1996 sl2 but it seems that it is still leaking and i think its spraying onto the belt that sits directly next to the engine, i think its for the ac. any suggestions? and yes the bolts on the valve cover and nice and tight

Might be the crank seal leaking, oil would leak out and the run on the serp belt and spray all over the place

Did you torque to spec (89 INCH lbs) in the correct pattern?

no, i didnt know that they had to be torqued, my mechanic (brother in law) didn't know either. whats the pattern?

Sorry this is late. Its a spiral sequence out starting from the inner middle bolt, left inner bolt, right inner bolt, etc etc
