Speed Sensor - 2001 Grand Caravan 3.3L
Greetings All!
I just purchased a 2001 Grand Caravan SE, with the 3.3 engine (G). I am trying to find the SPEED SENSOR on the vehicle. I need to tap a wire onto it for my in-dash navigation unit I am installing next week. Anyone able to tell me where the puppy is?? Many thanks in advance! Tom |

Re: Speed Sensor - 2001 Grand Caravan 3.3L
I have a 2005 T&C with 3.3 engine and 40TE automatic transaxle. Yours is probably the same. Looking at the left side of the transmission about half way up from the pan and toward the rear end is an electrical connector that is to the Output Speed Sensor which is the one you need since it feeds the vehicle speed data to the PCM. Further left of that toward the front is another identical connector and that one is to the Input Speed Sensor. Both of these connectors come out of the same wiring harness.
