After market head unit

I am having issues (does not play anything) with the remote CD player in my 98 Tahoe LT. Thinking of replacing the CD Player with something that can play MP3 format. Any suggestions what my options are, i am open to even replacing the head unit as well.
thx for your advice

go to crutchfield they have a good selection...install kits,,,telephone # to get questions answered...

have a cataloge sent to you and look over what you want..

My favorite is an IPOD that is using the FM radio with a high quality interface it is much cheaper and portable..in vehicle or home...

I have a 20G IPOD I use when I go on a long drive ...

usb input radio units are also a very cheap way to go with an 8GB drive you will have many a song////lets face it cd's are like vinyl records now...
