I do not have Vacum supply to the Air-Conditoner-Heater Select Switch- There are 6 Vacum supply Hoses-a Yellow-a Blue-Orange-Red-Green-Black ,These Go to Doors.
and the Elec;Plug to same Switch has Pink-(Green/white) Purple-Pink 4 total these are at top of same switch So none of the doors will open; I tried following these Vacum Lines iside the Eng area,But can not locate where the Supply line connects; any advice is appreciated;

Re: 96 Windstar-3.8 eng
Check all the vacuum lines at the engine. There are some ports off of the intake plenum that go to a vacuum block. Some times the ends of the hoses get dry and crack out. You can check the good hoses by squeezing the hoses with a pair of needle nose pliers. If you hear a difference in the sound of how the engine is running, then this is a line that is leaking or is disconnected. Try to back track the offending vacuum line to the vacuum supply hoses at the blend door of your heater/AC controls. Listen for a characteristic whistling sound a missing vacuum line will make. The only other thing I can think of is that the vacuum motor at the blend door(s) is bad. Did everything revert to the defroster when it started going bad? It is a safety default mode.
