2001 taurus keeps blowing fuse
I have a 2001 ford taurus with 130,000+ miles and recently the transaxle light came on and blinks and puts car into "limp" mode. I found a blown fuse under hood and after replacing it, light goes off. But when I start driving it again it blows the fuse and goes back into "limp" mode. The fuse that keeps going out is the HEGO Sensor Transmission Shift Solenoid, Canister Vent, A/C Clutch Relay, Thermactor Bypass Solenoid fuse, according to the manual. Has any one ever heard of this happening? I took it to see what codes where coming up and there were 18 different codes on it. 10 of them where transmission codes.

Welcome to the forum!
That doesn't ring a bell with me. You should try searching the forum - ideally you'd search before starting a new thread - for keyword 'limp.' -Rod |
