2001 dodge neon with 2.0 sohc has power to everything but when i try to start the car there is nothing. the lights do not dim and the starter does not crank. Could it be the ignition switch?

Re: No starting/ No power to starter

Check 30 amp fuse #9 in the power distribution center under the hood. Engine starter motor relay there also. The ignition switch, the neutral switch on the transmission or the starter. Any of these or any of the wiring between them can cause it.

Re: No starting/ No power to starter

about that neutral safety switch how hard is it to get to a coworker and I
are trying to fix his sons 2005 Neon no start and no fuel pump when you
turn key on some body at auto parts said it was the neutral safety switch but most repair sites don't call it a neutral safety switch for a auto trans we already checked the relays and replaced the ignition switch did not help if any body knows any info that would be very helpful
Thanks Chopperpad

today i found the problem with the no start/no fuel its from the #29 prong on the PCM had broken off and green goo coming out of the PCM this is the power source without this no power to relays but now the problem is fixing the wiring harness and replacing the PCM
thanks again Chopperpad
