You can make it using the small diameter metal tubes and rods that you can assemble.

I'm not sure what you mean by working ones. For sure you can't make one that uses oil or gas.

If your talking 1/24 scale, you can make the "functional" part using a hypodermic needle and pin. It will take test fitting various sizes of these to get a good match. And for the love of God be careful!

The ends need to pivot as the hood opens and closes, that part will be harder to figure out.

Anyone know how to cut these needles to size? I find that they are too hard to "roll" cut with a blade, and cutters just crush the tube.

A cutting or grinding disc on a Dremel ail cut throgh them cleanly like a knife through soft butter. Alternatively, a jeweller's saw would probably do the job.

Re: How I can make hood 's shock absorber?

If you prefer not taking any risk with needle, you can also use some plastic tube as the one used in RC modelling in which aerials run through, you can easyly insert a small metal tube (piano or copper wire).
you need to open a hole through the base of the tube to insert in it the part fixed to the body frame (without gluing it of course) to make the part work, also you can bend in "L" the extremity of the wire in the opposite fixation point (still without gluing).
Hope this is understandable as even if it's how I make this I don't have any pic of that gor the moment to illustrate the tip.
Will try to make some in the next days to show you that.
