Angry The reason for terrible accident

I purchased a set BC coilovers on May 2008 and installed the kit in my car . I only drive my car for daily work, and have put it approximately 4000 miles.

I drove my car on highway with my family last Sunday, all of a sudden, I had this happen to me after the car was out of control (see the attached images).

Holly shit, it was ridiculous!! The product is a crap, I am going to sue this company for this ‘shit’ product.

Re: The reason for terrible accident

Teach you a lesson not to buy aftermarket add-on crap. Keep it stock.

Are those struts screwed together? Is that a way to adjust your ride height? Did they strip the threads or did they unscrew somehow?

Re: The reason for terrible accident

I have a feeling you might lose this case if you installed them yourself.

No, it's called don't buy shit after market parts. There's absolutely nothing wrong with installing after market parts as long as they aren't cheap shit. So, next time you want to pass off your opinion as fact, keep it to yourself.

It also shows how much you know on the matter. The threads are there to allow you to adjust the ride height. The collars have a retainer and unless you're a dipshit and didn't tighten the retainer collar they won't unscrew. No, that looks like the base weld failed. Looks like a shitty product with a shitty weld. To be honest, I've never seen a dampener fail like that.

I'm guessing these weren't expensive? Next time I suggest spending the extra money and getting a product that is known to be be good. in the end I'm glad your ok. Can't imagine your car is though.
