95' Grand Prix Turbo?
I was wondering if it would be possible to put a turbo in my 1995 grand prix se. It has a 3.1 liter V6 and I didn't know if that small of engine would be able to handle it.
Thanks |

Re: 95' Grand Prix Turbo?
Yes it is probably possible. I thought some older grand prix 3.1's came with turbos stock. I just can't remember the years.
Maybe do some research on them. Problem is going to be tuning the computer....

Re: 95' Grand Prix Turbo?
GM offered the turbo on the Grand PRix from 89-91, but it was very limited. Since the VIN-M 3100 has intake issues as well as piston slap problems, I would strongly recommend against putting a turbo on one unless you rebuild the engine at the same time. There is more information over at the Grand Am forums as far as modding the 3100 if you want some added advice/opinions.
