M60A2 US Tank

I know it's not a car, but I got bored and decided to weather an old tank model of mine. I've never done a weathering job before so comments and suggestions are welcome.
The mud is a mixture of brown velvet and burnt umber acrylics with some dirt from my back yard.

Thanks for looking,

Exclamation Re: M60A2 US Tank

Looks really good!!! I am doing some military models right now as well, a Soviet GAZ MM and a Howitzer to go on the back... first time weathering as well.

There should be a separate military WIP thread, I think...

The mud look pretty nice, the only time I have tried doing weathering was on a suzuki escudo using tamiya XF brown paints to imitate dirty road rainwater splatters.
Put on a body kit and give it some volk TE37 rims and this machine would look killer
