tranny hard shift

I have a 04 2500 hd w 6.0 4l80e trans. it just started to shift hard into 2nd all other gears are fine.did a fluid change and its the same.no no dummy lite and no codes.Thanks for some input. joe riv

You need to get it on a transmission/engine capable scanner and read out transmission shift data and engine data.
Post back any codes from a good scanner check

had my gm buddy check it with his scan tool and nothing came up. all shift points are all good. now what? some times its good and sometimes when i give it gas it bangs hard.MORE HELP PLEASE!

It could be a engine running or a tramsmission problem.

When it gives you a hard shift is the time to ckeck it out.

A good engine/transmission capable scanner and a good tech/mechanic should be able to spot and show the problem.


Also it should be setting a code past present or history.
