95 riviera heater core trouble
I need to replace a heater core in my 1995 riviera. I have the instructions to take it out but they say something about disarming my SIR system if it is enabled. Im not exactly sure what the SIR system is and how to know if it is enabled or not. Im wondering if it is important and i have to do it, I also need to know how to disconnect it. Any feedback would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The SIR system refers to the air bags on the car. Since the heater core access is underneath, right hand side of the dashboard to the rear of the passenger airbag.
Working in close proiximity to the ab, you willl need to disarm the system. The ab fuse is located on the IP panel left side of dash door jamb area 10a fuse. Good luck! |

Please start a new thread with your questions, intake gaskets has nothing to do with a heater core. We try to keep threads on the same subject. Thanks
