My car was vandalized a few days ago and the turn signal lever is busted and is hangin on by the wires. I have a 97 Grand Prix, has anyone changed one of these out? The lever itself is not damaged it has just been detached and the plastic broken, any help would be much appreciated!!! Thanks.

Re: Turn Signal repair
Replacing the multifunction switch (MFS) is not difficult. Just remove the upper and lower plastic steering column covers and the electrical connector at the connector block under the dash. The ignition switch and MFS connect to the same electrical connector block. You do not need to remove the steering wheel. For further details we have a tech procedure for a Buick Regal but the procedure for Grand Prix is the same.

Re: Turn Signal repair
Have to replace the MFS (turn signal lever assembly) on my 99 Grand Prix as wipers and cruise control have failed. Can you please direct me to the tech bulletin you are referring to on the procedure to replace? I tried multple searches on the forum with no luck.
Thanks. |
