I have a 95 blazer 4.3... A/C works and blows cold... But, Bogs down my motor really bad and doesnt come out of the vents when im accelerating. Just comes out of the defroster and floor (which is weird to me)... When i get up to the speed that i want then it comes back through the vents... Possible compressor going out? Need restocking? I have very very little money and I dont wanna pay someone to check it out so i thought someone on here could steer me in the right direction... No fun being in Texas during the summer when this happens...

Re: 95 Blazer A/C Problems
I have a 96 Blazer and this started happening to me last week. Now it just mainly blows out of the defroster amd floor, and every now and then, it'll barely come out of the vents. I'm hoping for a quick reply cause I wanted to try to figure it out today.

Quote:
Check your engine vacuum readings at idle and at 2 K rpm and post back reading. Also check for good engine vacuum to ac controls and check lines and hoses and fittings in plastic vacuum ball area.
