95 riv recent purchase

I recently was able to purchase a 95 riv non sc with 58000 and loaded. After being stuck in a ford windstar for over a year, this is like manna from above. The only thing that doesn't work on the car is the power annt. The motor runs but does not move. I am ordering the new mast assembly, and was wondering if anyone has replaced this before. Any info welcome.
Thanks
Steve

I have never seen one of these go bad but they are easy to replace.

Re: 95 riv recent purchase

Sir,

This has been discussed on the Reatta forum, www.forums.aaca.org/f116/

If the motor runs, likely the flexible plastic rod that raises and lowers the mast is defective. Of course these parts are replaceable. I ran the antenna up on my Reatta, then unplugged the antenna power plug as I see no need to retract and raise the antenna continually.

Regards,
Jack C.
