Panoz WC Motor For Sale!!

After long deliberation, I have removed my car from the for sale market - HOWEVER - I am selling the motor - it's all Eric's fault, he's pressuring me.

Help me find a home for this engine.

2000 Panoz/Cobra 4.6L. All Aluminum Motor for sale.
Built by Panoz Auto Development for the World Challenge Series Cars.
Motor is strong, no leaks, no issues, approx 480hrs on the build per the Log/Maintenance Book.

hey Wess, yea, i was really torn on selling/keeping -- keeping won out.
I wanted the ARCA engine thats posted - but, a tad steep. So, LS1 it will be - but, need to sell the 4.6 before I start any heavy lifting.

You might try posting it in the market section of SVTPerformance.com. It's a Ford/Mustang site with a "market" section.

You may want to check out ebay motors. Search parts, ford, cobra engine. This may give you an idea of the market value of your engine. Having the ability to ship the engine will greatly enhance you ability to get top $. And when it sold and paid for, unlike your friend eric hardcastle, ship it!!!

Greetings ... A couple ??? Will that motor directly bolt into my Texas (chassis # 37) GT-Ra ; it has the Explorer motor mounts ... Any clutch / bell housing issues & the T-3550 ... Any dyno data ...
I had a 01 Cobra & wish I never sold it ; seeing your motor for sale got me thinking !!! Thanks / Paul M. Winship

Paul - I would think it would - I'd be glad to call Panoz on Monday to see if they can confirm or not. I have had ZERO clutch / bell housing issues - I even purchased a spare clutch cable, but have yet to install, since there has not been a need. Unfortunately, the car has yet to make it to the dyno - we keep discussing, but never seem to have the time or right day to get it there.
