quick connect line fittings

2000 Lumina----Are the quick connect tranny line fittings on the radiator able to be backed out without destroying them? Trying to change the fitting to barbed hose fitting. Thanks

Slide back the collar on the line, there is a small retaining clip you carefully pick out, don't loose it.
