Unhappy '98 LS headlight aiming

I was trying to adjust the headlight aim and apparently something inside became disconnected and now turning the aiming screw has no effect on the headlight aim. Anybody know how to remedy this?!?

It sounds to me like you may have broken something inside the lamp. If I were in your position, I would just buy a new headlamp off of Ebay. They usually sell for anywhere from $20 up to $50. Chances are your headlamp fogs up too, so maybe this will cure that problem.

BTW, have you checked out www.regalgs.org at all? Lots of great help there.
