got myself a new ride...TONS OF PICS!

A 2003 Nissan 350z Touring, automatic, and under 10k miles. I'll show pictures, but I want to give you a brief history on this thing first. I've been working on this damn thing for the past 2 years and finally finished it this spring. I bought it at an auction in April of 07 and have been very slowly fixing it up for the past two years. Finally got paint on it in January and finished it up in May. When I got it, it looked like it had been beat with a baseball bat and a golf club. I had to replace all the drivers side panels, the roof skin, hood, hatch, front bumper, gutted the interior, installed a new dash, and on top of all that, had to do a motor swap. All in all, I probably should have just got one off of a dealer lot, but this was an exciting adventure, and now I can say I know two cars from bumper to bumper, Eclipse/Talons and 350zs. AND NOW ON TO THE PICTURES!!!!!!

Wow, Im jealous. The wheels and front bumper, make the car. And the bodywork and paint look flawless. Did you put another engine in the car?

Very impressive. I'm definitely jealous. I've been wanting one of those damn cars for a few years now... in that color too. Good job man.

Nope, not anymore. I had one right away when I installed the headers, but it was from the upstream O2 sensor. Replaced that and no CEL anymore.

No, it wasn't even a rebuild, but yes it was stock. It was a motor from an 04 with under 4k miles on it...I'm pretty sure that when I changed the oil, that was the third time it was ever done, the inside of that motor was sooooooo clean. The only thing I've done to the car as far as performance goes is a JWT Popcharger (air filter/heat shield), Strup headers, and I gutted the stock cats. I plan on getting a Plenum spacer and a Borla exhaust in the next few months, then get it tuned and probably call it good as far as performance parts goes, THEY'RE SO FUCKIN EXPENSIVE! (A turbo kit ranges from 6-10k)

Yeah, I definitely did my research before I purchased the bumper and wheels, I've spent 90% of my internet time on a 350z forum. Yeah, it's a stock motor from an 04.

There is probably about 20k into the car after everything is all said and done, but I've got some shit on the inside too that added to the cost. As far as time, I have no idea...definitely alot though. Every free second I had to work on it this spring I did....I'm sure I've put hundreds of hours into it, but it was definitely worth it...I love this car.

No it had been sitting in our shed and between moving farm machinery in and out, everything in there gets covered in dust.

Close, but not quite. The offical name for the color is Daytona Blue.....I'm half tempted to paint my talon the same color as my Z instead of the candy green that I've got for it.
